Opportunities

Have you ever been presented with an opportunity, but decided to forgo it because you didn't feel the opportunity was worth having your feelings hurt? Perhaps you played out the different scenerios in your mind if you were to take the opportunity. (ie. if I take it, then this, if not, then that and possibly that) But sometimes it seems like one scenerio stands out and plays out in your mind over and over again. And if this scenerio is to take the opportunity, but because you are just too scared of the consequences, you decided to not take the opportunity (or vice versa). In this situation, feelings are more important than the opportunity. But what if this opportunity is a "one-shot" deal? Would the potential emotional scarring be worth it? Would you be able to be patient and wait for the next opportunity? Something to think about.

I was about to say that 'hurt feelings' is not a huge price to pay sometimes, but after reading some of your prior blogs, maybe the 'opportunity' isn't what I initially thought upon first reading.

Whoops! I'll try to be more clear on what I'm referring to in the future. Thanks for pointing that out.

I was trying, but then I guess it causes more confusions :P

My friend, you just need to take more chances in life. If they don't work out, you'll find it's not nearly as disastrous as you may think. And you'll end up being a stronger person.

Hi, I'm doing some research into Badminton related search 'keywords' e.g. 'badminton partner' for a client. I need to talk to people who regularly search for Badminton related information. I've found some people via badminton partner but I need to talk to more. Can you suggest where else to try?
TIA

Hi, I'm doing a college survey based upon various aspects of Badminton and I need to ask players from around the world to complete a short questionnaire. There are several themes including badminton rule. I'm using this site (badminton rule) to contact players, do you know of any other ways to do this?
Many thanks
